Despite being just a small bird with a body and a tail that are both only 10 cm long, it is very strong and territorial. They are called ''wagtail'', because their tails wag characteristically up and down while walking. They nest in groups and prefer living on watersides where they can easily find insects, spiders and worms for their main diet.
