A fish-eating pterosaur that inhabited the North American continent and Hokkaido, Japan about 89 to 74 million years ago. The body was covered with hair and was about 7 to 8 meters long, weighing 15 to 20 kg. It has a long bony comb on the back of the head. Pteranodon wasn't very strong and didn't flap its winds, it mainly gilded on the air like a glider.
