A large beetle that is active in summer and is extremely popular as a pet for children in Japan. The male has large, well-developed horns on its head and looks like an armored helmet. The body length is 30-54mm. It is nocturnal and eats hardwood sap. It is strong and can pull more than 20 times its own weight.

Attention
The patches can be ironed on cotton and polyester materials. Use a damp cloth under the iron when ironing, and be extra careful if you are ironing on heat-sensitive materials. Machine-stitching is recommended to enhance strength.
