Made by coloring kneaded dough in green/yellow/red, then shaped into a maple leaf. While many kinds of leaves turn yellow or red, "Momiji" maple leaf designs are the most popular ones. Molds for maples differ according to shops. Many of them are dyed in 2 or 3 colors and blurred.

Attention
The patches can be ironed on cotton and polyester materials. Use a damp cloth under the iron when ironing, and be extra careful if you are ironing on heat-sensitive materials. Machine-stitching is recommended to enhance strength.
