In late autumn, the mountains burst into vibrant shades of red and yellow. The term "momiji" refers to the autumn leaves of deciduous trees, particularly from the maple family, as we cherish the departing season. For deer, autumn is the mating season, and the calls of the male deer seeking females evoke a sense of poignancy.
The term "postcard" comes from "hashigaki," meaning "edge writing." Originally, it referred to written notes or memos on small pieces of paper. Our postcards from Rokushido are crafted from Echizen Washi and depict the vibrant seasonal landscapes of Japan using colorful washi paper.
