A hand made ultra-light cup that assembles the finest techniques of Japanese rokuro-hiki, a lathe technique using potter's wheel for shaving wood into an extremely fine form. This cup is made from a block of linden tree cut from the sides in round slices when the log is standing vertically. It’s suitable to serve hot drinks because the heat doesn’t transfer to your hands. The edges are so thin and smooth that you will enjoy the delicate touch of the wood. The production of this cup is limited as it is handmade one by one by the craftsman. Everything is made from natural materials and can be used for 100 years to come.
