A large beautiful greenish-white moth about 80-120 mm. Adults have degenerated mouths and live for about a week without eating. Moths are nocturnal, have developed odor-sensing antennae, their wings are covered with delicate powdery hairs. Butterflies usually fold their wings when landing, but a moth spreads out his wings when landing to rest or feed.
