In the autumn when rice grains are ripening, flocks of sparrows emerge, slipping through bird nets in the golden fields. With their heads bowed under the weight of abundant grains, sparrows hang on the drooping tips of the ears of rice. The term "inasuzume" (rice sparrow) is a seasonal word for autumn.

The term "postcard" comes from "hashigaki," meaning "edge writing." Originally, it referred to written notes or memos on small pieces of paper. Our postcards from Rokushido are based on Echizen Washi and depict the vibrant seasonal landscapes of Japan using colorful washi paper.
