Mushrooms that thrive in damp environments can be found at the bases of trees and beneath layers of fallen leaves. Some mushrooms even emerge like a yellow carpet at the foot of ginkgo trees. They play a vital role in breaking down leaf litter, returning nutrients to the forest.
The term "postcard" comes from "hashigaki," meaning "edge writing." Originally, it referred to written notes or memos on small pieces of paper. Our postcards from Rokushido are crafted from Echizen Washi and depict the vibrant seasonal landscapes of Japan using colorful washi paper.
