FUJIMARU

"FUJIMARU" is a traditional Japanese pattern that stylizes wisteria (FUJI) into a circular (MARU) design.

Wisteria has long been cherished as a symbol of elegance, longevity, and the arrival of spring.

"TENUGUI" is a hand-dyed rectangular cloth that has been used daily in Japan since ancient times.

"KOMON" means "small patterns" in Japanese, and this collection features a series of "TENUGUI" adorned with these traditional KOMON designs.

Many of these KOMON patterns are traditional motifs cherished by common people for over 100 years. Each pattern has its own name and meaning, carrying a unique story behind it.
