The story of Kaguya hime(Princess Kaguya) One day, an old man discovered a glowing bamboo stalk in a grove. When he cut it open, he found a tiny girl inside. He named her Kaguya-hime and raised her with great care.
She grew into a woman of extraordinary beauty, but one day she tearfully revealed that she was from the Moon and must one day return.
On the night of the full moon, she bid farewell to the old man and ascended back to the Moon.
