The Japanese white-eye can be seen in a wide range of habitats, from flatlands to mountainous areas. As a resident bird that enjoys the sweet nectar of flowers, it actively seeks out sources like the winter camellia, even in the cold months. With a relatively low level of wariness, these birds often appear in busy places such as parks in towns.

The term "postcard" comes from "hashigaki," meaning "edge writing." Originally, it referred to written notes or memos on small pieces of paper. Our postcards from Rokushido are based on Echizen Washi and depict the vibrant seasonal landscapes of Japan using colorful washi paper.
