This sparkling liqueur starts with perfectly ripened Nanko plums as its base, then gets its vibrant character from the new "Tsuyu Akane" plum variety, grown in Aritagawa Town. It boasts a beautiful red color and a delightful sweet-tart flavor.
You'll notice the plum pulp settled at the bottom, giving it a rich, slightly thick mouthfeel, but don't let that fool you! Its abundant acidity ensures a wonderfully refreshing finish.
Serve it well chilled, either straight or over plenty of ice in a glass.
