About No. 10 canvas
No. 10 canvas from Okayama Prefecture is mordanted with original colors and then waxed, which is called paraffin processing. By increasing the number of the process, the No. 10 canvas becomes a harder finish. As a result, the textile is much thicker and the beautiful form stays for a long time. The wax cracks and wrinkles appear, and that makes this bag very characteristic and tasteful.
About discoloration
Dark colors may fade due to wet friction from rain or sweat. Please handle them separately from white ones.
Please note the following points due to special processing
Folding or grabbing the fabric during the sewing process leaves creases. Although the strength varies slightly depending on the color, wrinkles like white cracks are not uneven colors. Paraffin-processed canvas has a slightly oily smell, like burning wax when first used. If you don't like the smell of oil, please avoid using it.
How to clean
As it is paraffin processed, please do not wash it as much as possible. If you are concerned about dirt, please hand wash with a neutral detergent for laundry. When rinsing, rinse with a push wash, adjust the shape, and dry in the shade. Please note that there may be some shrinkage and loss of shape due to washing.
