This shirt dress is decorated with bold fringe Jacquard fabric, inspired by the sand road (Tombolo phenomenon) that suddenly appears between the mainland and the islands due to the ebb and flow of the tide.
At first glance, it looks as if the fringe fabric is sewn on afterwards, but it is woven as a single piece of fabric using the cut jacquard weaving technique. Thick yarn is used for the fringe to create a fluffy design.
This fabric wear makes full use of a technique that can only be expressed by POLS.
It is a garment that can be worn in a variety of ways, such as in combination with skirts and other bottoms, or as a woven garment.
< TEXTILE >
The idea was inspired by the scenery of the “Tombolo phenomenon,” in which the tide recedes and the shallows are exposed like a road.
The design incorporates a fascinating landscape that makes one's heart dance, as if a story is about to begin.
We want the viewer to feel the joy of the three-dimensional textile, as if a pebble on the bottom of the sea can be seen from where the weft has been cut.
