A winter tradition: Japanese macaques soaking in hot springs. This unique sight began at the Jigokudani Monkey Park in Nagano Prefecture, where the world’s only hot springs exclusively for monkeys have been established. Just like humans, these monkeys must find the warmth of a hot bath especially comforting on cold days.
The term "postcard" comes from "hashigaki," meaning "edge writing." Originally, it referred to written notes or memos on small pieces of paper. Our postcards from Rokushido are made from Echizen Washi and feature vibrant seasonal landscapes of Japan depicted in colorful washi paper.
