Because dogs deliver many puppies in one labour, they represent prosperity of descendants and easy birth. The taiko (Japanese drum) on the komainu is said to repel evil and komainu takes care of children. There is a traditional ritual to pray for an easy child birth for expectant mothers on the first "Inu no Hi (Dog's day)” on the fifth month of pregnancy.

〈About the sticker〉

Use as a sticker on paper, leather, fabric, plastic etc. If you leave it attached for a long time, the glue will stick to the item. If used on clothes, we recommend the patch to be ironed-on, because the sticker may fall of when washing the clothes.

〈How to iron on this patch〉

  1. Remove the transparent sheet.
  2. Apply the patch on the item of choice. Using your body weight, press down firmly for 15-20 sec.
  3. Do the same action on the other side.
  4. Leave on a flat surface until it cooled down completely.

※ If it did not stick well, repeat 2 to 4 times.
※ To increase the patch strength on frequently washed items we recommend the patch to be sown onto the clothes.
※ The patches can be ironed on cotton and polyester materials. Be careful when using heat-sensitive materials.

Commercial use of this product is strictly prohibited.
