Japanese tiger beetles body length is about 20mm, it can be found all over Japan. A beautiful beetle with a metallic luster of green to turquoise. The body has a unique fruity aroma. They are extremely cautious bugs, when approached, will fly away and land at about 1 to 2 m away, often looking back at you. From this cute action they got the nickname "Michi-oshie" which translates into Teach the way.

Attention
