The Tuna ''maguro'' has been an important food source in Japan since way back in the Jomon period about 10,000 years ago. In the past these big, 3 m long fish were called ''Shibi''. There are many kinds of tuna in the waters near Japan, such as the Bluefin tune, the yellowfin tuna, the big eye tuna, the albacore tuna, and the long tailed tuna. About 90% of the Tuna in Japan is eaten raw as they are very popular for use as sashimi or in sushi.

Attention

The patches can be ironed on cotton and polyester materials. Use a damp cloth under the iron when ironing, and be extra careful if you are ironing on heat-sensitive materials. Machine-stitching is recommended to enhance strength.
