Attached accessory

Button: Products with buttons can also be dyed, but the deep black process requires high temperatures, which may damage the buttons. Please remove any buttons that have brand names on them or that you do not want to damage before sending the item. We cannot take any responsibility for missing buttons.
-
Leather: Any leather accessory cannot be accepted. Because leather will crack and be destroyed by high-temperature processing.
- Buckles: Buckles, which are often found on jackets and pants, cannot be accepted as they may be damaged by high-temperature processing.
Materials
-
We can accept your garment if it contains at least 50% of the dyeable materials listed. We cannot accept garments that contain less than 50% dyeable materials, because the higher the content of plant fiber materials, the darker the final color can be.
-
Rayon is weak to water and heat, so there is the possibility of shrinking the clothes.
-
Cupra may also wrinkle like rayon and change in texture.
-
Leather products cannot be dyed. Therefore, clothing with leather accessories cannot be dyed unless they can be removed in advance.
-
Acetate and triacetate cannot be dyed, even if they are included in the composition in small amounts.
-
Dyeing may be possible under the condition that they will not be dyed completely black. Please contact us.
-
Items containing padding, such as down jackets, cannot be dyed. (Quilting requires consultation)
About the fabric
-
After black dyeing, the color may transfer to other items due to friction. Particular care is required when the fabric is wet from sweat or rain. Please be careful when using it together with light-colored clothing or bags.
-
Since the dyeing is done at high temperatures, shrinkage or damage may occur depending on the material.
-
If the fabric is weak, it may tear or develop holes.
-
Denim pants that have been treated with distressing may become even more damaged, or the fabric may become stained.
-
Clothes that have been treated with wrinkle-resistant, no-iron, or water-repellent finishes may have unevenness or discoloration instead of dyeing black.
About sewing thread
-
Sewing thread, embroidery thread, buttonholes, etc., are often made of polyester, and these parts will remain in their original color. For example, if a white garment is dyed black, the sewing thread will remain as white stitches on the black garment if the sewing thread is polyester.
-
Sewing thread may fray.
-
Gold and silver threads may discolor.
About color unevenness
-
If the color is partially faded, the entire garment may not be uniformly black.
-
Blends and interwoven items may have color unevenness depending on the blend ratio.
-
If invisible oil or dirt is attached to the fabric, the dye may not be applied to that area, resulting in uneven dyeing.
About shrinkage
-
Items with a dry-clean label may shrink.
-
Depending on the material and sewing specifications of the product, there is a risk of shrinkage during dyeing. About returns when dyeing is not possible
-
If you send us your requested item to Kyoto Montsuki Co., Ltd. determined that it cannot be dyed, we will return it to you with postage paid by you.
-
If you send us multiple items, and some can be dyed and some cannot, we will send you the items that cannot be dyed after the dyeing process is completed.
*Dyeing is a high-temperature process, so there is a risk of various problems such as damage to the fabric, shrinkage, color fading after dyeing, pulling of the stitching, corrosion, deterioration, and damage to accessories. Kyoto Montsuki Co., Ltd. and MONO JAPAN cannot take responsibility for any such problems that may occur, so please make sure you understand and agree to the above points before placing an order.
