Banshu, a textile production area, was formed around Nishiwaki City, Hyogo Prefecture.
Needless to say, the history of Banshu weaving over the past 200 years has been supported by yarn-dyed cotton shirt fabrics.
Using this shirt fabric as a base, we have created a scarf with a raised pattern using the cut jacquard weaving technique.
The contrast between the rustic cotton and the vivid pols color will leave a lasting impression at first glance.
It has a good tension and is comfortable to wrap around the skin, making it suitable for all seasons.
The more it is washed, the softer it becomes and the better the texture unique to cotton fabrics can be felt.
The fabric is designed with a firm density, so it is recommended for use as an accent for the back of a sofa or in a room's interior.
