Within its characteristic black parent stone, the crystals of this uncommon gemstone take longer to grow than typical labradorite, and form with a structure producing a strong iridescence. The rainbow colors dance on the chic black and bright blue base color of this stone that shows two completely different expressions depending on the angle. To bring out the unique presence of spectrolite, which has been polished into a soft, vertically asymmetrical form, the setting and shank have been given a simple and light design, with a warm matte texture.
